Assisi uses what it calls the EARS model. (Empathy, Awareness Raising, and Solutions.) Here’s how it works:
1.Empathic Link. Empathy is very important in any kind of relationship, especially in human-animal interactions, because it’s already given that animals cannot talk. Therefore, it’s important that one learns to create a bond that’s filled with empathy with their companion animals, especially canines, because more often than not, it’s so hard to understand what they are trying to say.
