Board Certified Music Therapist Journal

You're a board certified music therapist, congrats! It's been a long journey to get here, or maybe you've been one for a while, but it feels good to have those credentials behind your name, doesn't it? Have you accedentally written MT-BC at the end of signing your name at the grocery store? Or on a check? You wouldn't be the first person who has!In this journal, take time to write about your music therapy. What are your goals? What do you look forward to every day? What are some special memories you've made as a music therapist you'd like to hold onto? In order for one to be a board certified music therapist, they must get a bachelors degree, complete a 1200 hour internship, and pass the boards exam. Sounds easy enough, right? Well, wrong. It takes most people about 4-5 years to complete, but once you pass the exam and you get to sign MT-BC behind your name, it makes all those long nights of writing papers and travel time to practicums worth it. Am I right?
