Process Manufacturing using Microsoft Dynamics AX

This book focuses on how Microsoft Dynamics AX supports supply chain management (SCM) in process manufacturing and distribution businesses. It covers SCM functionality in the new Dynamics AX as well as Dynamics 2012 R3, since they share the same embedded conceptual models and business processes. More than 100 case studies illustrate system usage in different types of process industries such as food products and industrial products. The targeted reader includes those individuals implementing or considering Dynamics AX as their ERP system, as well as those providing consulting assistance. The book contents have been segmented to support the learning objectives of several types of readers, ranging from the initial learning of new users to the incremental learning of AX veterans. Two previous books similarly focused on process manufacturing using the previous versions of AX 2009 and AX 2012.
