Ubuntu is a concept that is new to me, and yet not new at all. The idea of interconnectedness is precisely what we should be pursuing on this planet. I was so moved by this book, that I wrote a poem about it, and continue to pursue the path of Ubuntu every day. I am living this concept at even a deeper level because I am a heart transplant candidate and have been overwhelmed by the people who have come forward to support me and my family out of pure love.
